Simmons Bed Launches 'N32 Foam Mattress'... Prioritized Entry at 7 Stores Including Lotte Department Store Main Branch

Targeting the Foam Mattress Market with Three Key Differentiators: Breathability, Elasticity, and Safety

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Simmons Bed, a sleep specialist brand, has formed an exclusive partnership with Lotte Department Store and has prioritized opening N32 exclusive stores at seven locations: the main store, Bundang, Suwon, Pyeongchon, Incheon, Konkuk University Star City, and Daegu.

These stores are separate from existing Simmons stores and feature a clean and pristine image with white color. At the N32 stores, customers can find the new N32 foam mattress and the N32 topper mattress, known as the Hermes of toppers, from the lifestyle collection N32.

To celebrate the launch of the new products and the exclusive entry into Lotte Department Store, Simmons has prepared generous discount benefits. Both the N32 foam mattress and the N32 topper mattress are offered at a 30% discount, and frames and room sets are also discounted by 30% when purchased as a set with N32 products. Additionally, on Simmons’ official online mall, customers can use Simmons Pay, a subscription economy membership service, to purchase with up to 36 months of interest-free installment payments on credit cards.

The N32 foam mattress features three differentiators: ▲breathability ▲elasticity ▲safety, addressing the common drawbacks of traditional foam mattresses such as heat retention and sagging.

The typical heat buildup during long use, a drawback of foam mattresses, has been greatly improved through enhanced breathability. The self-developed Active Refresh Foam (AR Foam) reduces heat during sleep, and the top layer of the mattress is covered with a natural plant-based linen jacquard fabric to maximize comfort.

The elasticity, the greatest advantage of pocket springs, has been implemented in the foam mattress to provide support unseen in previous products. High-elastic pattern foam made of 5-fitting foam and HEB foam supports the entire body without gaps, preventing sagging where body weight concentrates on certain parts during sleep, which disrupts restful sleep.

Safety is also a strong point unique to the N32 foam mattress. It is the only domestic foam mattress to have all three major safety certifications for mattresses in Korea: ▲Ministry of Environment’s national eco-friendly certification ▲Radon and thoron safety product certification ▲Flame retardant performance that meets international standards and domestic standard test methods, making it resistant to fire.

Moreover, Simmons offers over 100 stylish frame designs and about 50 bedding models compatible with the N32 mattress, allowing customers to complete a full bedroom styling with Simmons products, known as the 'Simmons Look.'

Meanwhile, the N32 foam mattress is available in three firmness types: Soft, Regular, and Hard, and four sizes: Super Single (SS), Queen (QE), Large King (LK), and King of King (KK). The consumer price ranges from 2 million to 4 million KRW.
