[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Metaverse platform developer Cariverse announced on the 1st that it has formed a partnership with Ethereum scaling solution Polygon (MATIC).
Cariverse is a joint venture between Mantisco, the developer of the game "Hunters Arena: Legends," which has recorded 12 million downloads worldwide, and Carisoft, the owner of the intellectual property (IP) rights for "Carrie and Friends." The metaverse "Cariverse," being developed by Cariverse under the same name, aims to launch in the first quarter of next year. It features lifelogging (automatic recording of personal life information) that reflects the real world, including gaming, education, and commerce.
In addition to "Cariverse," Cariverse is also developing the crypto strategy game "Supercola," which will be onboarded to "Cariverse." They are also preparing character IP non-fungible tokens (NFTs) with story participation by Kim Botong, the writer of the popular Netflix drama "D.P." This partnership includes not only technical support but also global marketing and ecosystem building. The Polygon chain, composed of Ethereum Layer 2-based chains, is a project created to improve scalability and network performance, addressing the slow speed and high fees, which are considered drawbacks of the Ethereum network, with a blockchain network.
