Humasis Unveils Southeast Asia Customized Products Including Dengue Fever Tests

[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Humasis has unveiled customized products targeting the Southeast Asian market, including dengue fever and seasonal influenza (flu).

Humasis announced on the 31st that it will participate in the 'Singapore Medical Fair Asia 2022 (Medical Fair Asia 2022, MFA)' held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, from the 31st to the 2nd of next month (local time). MFA is the Singapore exhibition of the Medica network, with over 1,000 companies worldwide participating and approximately 14,000 visitors attending, making it the largest medical device fair in Southeast Asia.

At this exhibition, Humasis will showcase new products including the ▲Humasis COVID-19/Flu Ag Combo Test ▲point-of-care glycated hemoglobin analyzer (HUBI DIA), as well as products targeting the Asian market such as ▲Humasis Dengue Combo ▲Humasis Influenza Card Plus.

In Singapore, where the exhibition is held, and throughout Southeast Asia, dengue fever patients have surged due to climate change, causing a significant social problem with a fatality rate reaching 20%. Seasonal influenza also results in a large number of patients, making rapid antigen testing essential for quick diagnosis.

A Humasis official stated, “As this is an opportunity to directly introduce product lines targeting the Asian market, many stakeholders are expected to visit,” adding, “Singapore is an important hub for the Southeast Asian medical device industry, and we will also strive to actively develop the market.”
