[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] SPC Group announced on the 31st that Shake Shack will open its 23rd store next month at Lotte Castle Plaza near Jamsil Station, Songpa-gu, Seoul.

Before the opening, Shake Shack collaborated with artist Ha Myung-eun, known for her refreshing brush strokes and vivid use of colors, to present a 'Hoarding Art' (artwork painted on temporary construction site barriers) that expresses the upcoming Jamsil store as a moment of celebration. The artwork features the artist’s signature colorful brush touches and freely scattered Shake Shack icons, depicting fireworks celebrating the opening of Shake Shack’s 23rd store.

Shake Shack has communicated with local communities through Hoarding Art at every store opening and has operated events that customers can participate in, creating a unique culture exclusive to Shake Shack.

To commemorate the opening of Shake Shack Jamsil, SPC Group will hold a pre-event called ‘Community Day.’ Participation is possible via the QR code on the hoarding or Shake Shack’s Instagram until the 14th of next month. Through a draw, 150 people will be invited the day before the official opening to enjoy Shake Shack’s menu for free.
