NEW In-house Venture NewID Participates in Asia's Largest International Broadcast Video Market

[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] New ID, the first in-house venture of content media group NEW (Next Entertainment World), announced on the 31st that it will participate in BCWW (BroadCast WorldWide) 2022, Asia's largest international broadcasting and video market, held for three days until September 2 at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul.


New ID operates as a FAST (Free Ad-Supported TV) service provider, partnering with global platforms and managing specialized channels.


At this international broadcasting and video market, New ID plans to open a booth to showcase media solutions such as AIPP (AI Post Production) and CMS (Content Management System).


The AIPP technology is a solution that supports removing Korean subtitles, broadcaster logos, and PPL images within content, eliminating on-site and background audio without voice loss, and includes an upscaling technology called 'Supernova' that converts low-resolution videos into high-resolution. It helps globalize and localize content.


The CMS technology is a solution that allows easy establishment of specialized channels on global FAST platforms. Through CMS, content owners, pay TV operators, or TV manufacturers can save time and costs during their global expansion process.
