[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Jeonggwan-eup Administrative Welfare Center in Gijang-gun, Busan, held a plaque ceremony for the 'Village Connection No. 1 House' in collaboration with the Busan Hanmaeum Rotary Club on the 28th.

On the 28th, the Busan Hanmaeum Rotary Club carried out house repair volunteer work for a single elderly household residing in the area, and about 10 members including President Kim Nan-hee attended the plaque ceremony event.

The volunteer work was initiated after Rotary Club members heard about an elderly person living alone in an old house with mold caused by leaks and raised funds to support the project.

The members took time out of their busy schedules to carry out volunteer activities such as wallpapering, bathroom repairs, and light replacement.

President Kim Nan-hee said, "Seeing the elderly person happy with the renovated house gives me a sense of fulfillment," and added, "We will continue to strive to practice volunteer work for neighbors in need."

The Rotary Club has been participating as a partner institution in the 'Jeonggwan Village Connection - No. 7' since the 9th, supporting vulnerable groups with supplies and engaging in projects to improve the living environment of vulnerable households in the area.
