Recently, with an increase in the influx of the 30s and 40s age groups into the housing market, the "young cities" with a lower average age are bustling. Breaking it down, the 30s accounted for 114,815 transactions and the 40s for 118,257 transactions, showing the highest number of sales transactions among all age groups.

A representative example is Paju City in Gyeonggi Province. According to resident registration population data by region, the average age in Paju City is 41.8 years, which is lower than the national average (44 years) and the Gyeonggi average (42.2 years).
In Paju City, 8 out of 10 complexes sold last year were closed in the first priority round, recording an average competition rate of 25.02 to 1 in the first priority. This year, the first half saw a first priority competition rate of 41.4 to 1 by region, ranking second highest in Gyeonggi Province.
Industry experts analyze that Paju City attracts young buyers because it is one of the Gyeonggi areas with excellent access to Seoul, convenient commuting to business districts, and various upcoming transportation benefits, making it highly valuable for the future.
