[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jin-young] Hanwha Hotels & Resorts' Hanwha Resort Seorak is hosting a special exhibition by artist Jeong Eun-hye, who has developmental disabilities, titled "I Like You Just the Way You Are, Your Face," until the 12th of next month in celebration of the Chuseok holiday.
"I Like You Just the Way You Are, Your Face" is an exhibition by artist Jeong Eun-hye, who recently appeared in a drama playing a character with Down syndrome. The exhibition features 150 caricature works by the artist. Hanwha Hotels & Resorts first connected with artist Jeong Eun-hye through an exhibition of artists with developmental disabilities at Hanwha Resort Yangpyeong in July 2020. Since then, they have been continuously holding exhibitions within Hanwha Resorts.
The exhibition is held until the 12th of next month at the "Atelier Han (閑)" exhibition hall in Hanwha Resort Seorak Sorano. Atelier Han is a space that combines rest and art, and is open for free viewing not only to guests but also to Seorak residents and travelers. In addition to Jeong Eun-hye's works, visitors can also see 30 works by local artists, including Korean paintings, Western paintings, and photographs featuring the beautiful scenery of Sokcho.
On Chuseok day, the 10th of next month, various events such as a signing session, photo time, and caricature drawing with artist Jeong Eun-hye are planned. Both guests and visitors can participate in the signing session and photo time, and three guest groups will be selected for the caricature drawing event. The caricature drawing event is available only to customers who have reservations at Hanwha Resort Seorak Sorano on September 10th, and the lottery event and announcement of winners will be individually notified.
A marketing official from Hanwha Hotels & Resorts stated, "We will continue to plan various programs for local cultural artists and provide special experiences to customers," adding, "After Jeong Eun-hye's Seorak exhibition ends, it is scheduled to resume again in early October at Hanwha Resort Gyeongju."
