[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Seongmyeong Jo) has opened the first-ever dedicated medical tourism online platform by a local government, ‘Medical Gangnam,’ on the 25th.

The district planned Medical Gangnam so that overseas medical tourists seeking Gangnam’s advanced medical infrastructure can obtain all information at once on an integrated platform without the hassle of visiting each medical institution’s website individually.

Through this platform, users will be able to access integrated services including ▲Gangnam medical tourism information ▲connection to interpretation coordinators ▲free consultations ▲real-time SNS inquiries ▲issuance of discount coupons ▲self-diagnosis, and more.

The ‘Free Consultation Service’ allows foreign patients to simply enter the desired treatment area and personal information, after which the relevant hospitals directly respond with details on prices, procedures, and precautions. Patients can resolve their questions through expert answers and choose after comparing multiple hospitals.

Additionally, the ‘Real-time SNS Inquiry’ service enables 1:1 real-time consultations with desired medical institutions, and the discount coupon issuance and self-diagnosis services can be conveniently used anytime and anywhere via mobile and PC.
