Netflix announced on the 24th that it will produce "Parasite: The Grey," directed by Yeon Sang-ho. The series is based on the world of Hitoshi Iwaaki's manga "Parasite." It tells the story of mysterious parasitic creatures that fall from space, take humans as hosts, commit murders, and form their own factions. The series plans to intriguingly depict the desperate struggles of humans fighting against them. The main roles will be played by Jeon So-nee, Koo Kyo-hwan, and Lee Jung-hyun. They will portray Jeong Su-in, infected by the parasitic creature; Seol Kang-woo, who chases the parasites; and Choi Jun-kyung, a member of the parasite task force, respectively. The screenplay is co-written by director Yeon Sang-ho and Ryu Yong-jae, the writer of "Money Heist: Korea ? Joint Economic Area." The series is co-produced by Climax Studio, known for "Hellbound" and "D.P.," and Wowpoint.
