[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] hy announced on the 23rd that it has completed the distribution of 2,000 units of the ride-on refrigerated electric cart 'CoCo 3.0' within one year of its introduction.
CoCo 3.0 is the third-generation model of the ride-on refrigerated electric cart 'CoCo (Cold&Cool)', first introduced in 2014. Based on feedback from primary users, the Fresh Managers, additional features such as heated handles, collision avoidance sensors, and steering assist devices have been installed. The top door is equipped with a remotely controllable electronic lock, enhancing convenience compared to previous models that used keys. This also helps prevent unexpected situations caused by theft.
The price per unit of CoCo 3.0 reaches 14 million KRW. hy plans to replace all existing carts, approximately 10,000 units, with the new model by 2026. A total investment of about 150 billion KRW, including development costs, will be made solely for the distribution of CoCo 3.0.

Powered by electricity, it produces no exhaust gases or smoke and generates low noise, making it a representative eco-friendly delivery method in the ESG era. The product storage compartment typically maintains a temperature of 5℃, eliminating the need for packaging materials like styrofoam boxes for refrigerated distribution.
An hy official stated, "CoCo, the world's first ride-on electric cart, is the result of long-term investment for customer satisfaction and a valuable asset of hy," adding, "We plan to accelerate the distribution speed as much as possible."
