Jeongeup-si, Public Recruitment for Open Position of Health Center Director

[Jeongeup=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeongeup City, Jeollabuk-do announced on the 22nd that it will publicly recruit the head of the Jeongeup City Health Center as an open position.

With the importance of public health increasing due to the COVID-19 pandemic and other infectious diseases, the city decided to publicly recruit qualified candidates from both inside and outside the public sector to appoint as the head of the health center.

The newly hired head of the health center will be appointed as a local technical secretary or a fixed-term public official (open position level 4) and will be responsible for overall health center duties related to public health, medical care, and sanitation for citizens.

The application period is five days, from August 29 to September 2.

Eligibility requirements include holding a medical license according to Article 13 of the Enforcement Decree of the Regional Health Act, or being a current public official with more than five years of work experience in health, food sanitation, medical technology, medical affairs, pharmaceutical affairs, nursing, or health care service job series, meeting certain career requirements.

The term of office is two years and can be extended up to five years depending on work performance.
