The center announced on the 22nd that it will hold two book discussions on November 14 and 21 under the theme "Remembering and empathizing with social pain" for parents and residents.

Jeon Myung-seon, director of the 4·16 Democratic Citizenship Education Center, explained, "This book discussion was prepared with the hope that a culture of remembering and empathizing with social pain, such as the 4·16 Sewol ferry disaster, will permeate daily life through democratic citizenship competency enhancement programs."
The center plans to conduct various democratic citizenship competency enhancement programs for parents and residents in November and December as well.
