Gyeonggi-do Youth Interview Allowance Applications Open from the 22nd... 50,000 KRW per Session

[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province began accepting the second round of applications for the Youth Interview Allowance starting on the 22nd.

The Gyeonggi Province Youth Interview Allowance is a program that provides 50,000 KRW per interview as an interview activity expense to young people in the province who participate in job interviews, helping to reduce the burden of job preparation and allowing them to focus on job seeking.

Applications are accepted from the 22nd of this month until the 23rd of next month. Applications can be submitted through the Gyeonggi Province Youth Interview Allowance website.

Eligible applicants are young people aged 18 to 39 (born between January 2, 1982, and December 31, 2004) whose registered address as of the application date is in Gyeonggi Province.

Applicants can apply regardless of employment status if they have had a job interview experience this year. Those with part-time jobs under 30 hours per week or who have attended interviews at workplaces outside Gyeonggi Province (including overseas companies) are also eligible.

However, participants in similar programs such as ▲unemployment benefits ▲Gyeonggi Women’s Employment Support Fund ▲Youth Job Seeker Transportation Support Project cannot apply.

The province will verify submitted documents such as the applicant’s residence and interview attendance, and selected applicants will receive 50,000 KRW per interview (up to 6 times) in Gyeonggi local currency as job-seeking activity expenses.
