Woongjin ThinkBig-Udemy, Recruiting 2nd Batch of 'Starters Employment Bootcamp' to Develop IT Talent

[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Minjae] Woongjin ThinkBig announced on the 19th that it is recruiting participants for the 2nd session of the ‘STARTERS Employment Bootcamp’ until the 14th of next month.


‘STARTERS’ is an IT bootcamp program co-hosted and operated by Woongjin ThinkBig and the global online lecture platform Udemy. It aims to train developers through developer education and internship programs linked to employment. The total recruitment quota is 20 people, and anyone including non-majors, beginner developers, and university students can apply.


The 2nd session will be conducted with ‘Frontend’ and ‘Backend’ courses consisting of React and Android. During the 3-month training period, trainees will design a roadmap tailored to their individual level and learning pace, receive competency enhancement education including mentoring from current developers, and then carry out toy projects. Trainees will be provided free access to more than 17,000 courses on Udemy.


All trainees who meet the completion criteria will be offered internship opportunities. Among those who complete the internship process at Woongjin ThinkBig’s IT Development Office or IT partner companies, 80% will also receive benefits for full-time employment.
