Governor Gu In-mo is encouraging the athletes training for the Provincial Sports Festival.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Gu In-mo, the mayor of Geochang County, visited Geochang Sports Park on the 18th to encourage the athletes training for the 61st Gyeongnam Provincial Sports Festival and to listen to their difficulties, spending time communicating with them.

Mayor Gu In-mo encouraged the athletes sweating it out in training at the archery range, golf course, tennis courts, gateball field, jokgu field, soccer field, ground golf course, and park golf course within Geochang Sports Park, saying, “Please take good care of your health and stamina in the hot weather and fully demonstrate the skills you have honed so far to raise the pride of Geochang residents.”

The 61st Gyeongnam Provincial Sports Festival will be held for four days from the 26th to the 29th in Yangsan City,

and Geochang County will participate with 642 people including 214 high school athletes, 260 general division athletes, and officials across 27 events.
