50s Woman Sets Fire to Lover's House, Asking "Why Won't You Answer My Calls?"

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] A woman in her 50s was arrested on the spot for setting fire to her lover's house because he did not answer her calls.

The Gwangju Gwangsan Police Station announced on the 19th that they have detained and are investigating a woman in her 50s, Ms. A, on suspicion of arson of an occupied building.

Ms. A is accused of setting fire to a house in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, at around 7:11 a.m. that day.

It was investigated that Ms. A committed the crime out of anger because her lover did not respond to her calls.

The fire was extinguished by firefighters who arrived on the scene within about 12 minutes without any casualties. At the time, there was no one inside the house.
