The unique wit of the 'Bread Uncle' still shone brightly. Actor Brad Pitt (58) captured the journalists attending the press conference in Korea with his phone camera, saying, "I feel good to be in Korea and want to leave memories."

Visiting Korea for the first time in eight years, Brad Pitt greeted at the press conference for the movie 'Bullet Train' held on the morning of the 19th at the Conrad Seoul Grand Ballroom in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, saying, "I came back not to promote the movie but to eat Korean food."

Brad Pitt first visited Korea with the movie 'Moneyball' (2011) and later came with 'World War Z' (2013) and 'Fury' (2014). Known by nicknames like 'Bread Hyung' and 'Bread Uncle' for his friendly communication with fans, he showed strong willingness to visit Korea actively by adjusting his schedule ahead of the release of 'Bullet Train.'

'Bullet Train,' opening on the 24th, is a nonstop action blockbuster depicting the war between unlucky guy Ladybug (played by Brad Pitt) and high-spec killers aboard a high-speed train from which escape is impossible to complete a mission.

About the movie, Brad Pitt introduced, "Seven sociopaths (people with antisocial personality disorder) meet on one train and gather around a common incident," adding, "Each actor delivered excellent performances." He continued, "The story unfolds around the theme of whether humans are destined or have free will." He expressed confidence by saying, "It's a movie that fits well with summer."

Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who gained attention through 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' (2015), 'Tenet,' and 'Kingsman: The First Agent' (2020), has built a solid fandom, including starring in Marvel's original antihero 'Kraven the Hunter,' set to release in January next year.

Visiting Korea for the first time, Aaron Taylor-Johnson said, "I always wanted to come to Korea, and I'm excited to be here. I'm happy to bring a movie I am proud of." He added, "I arrived yesterday and ate the excellent Korean dish Samgyetang. I also ate kimchi and kkakdugi, especially liking the kkakdugi. 'Bullet Train' is directed by David Leitch, known for his unique and stylish action and sensuous comedy in films like 'John Wick' (2014), 'Deadpool 2' (2018), and 'Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw' (2019). The director boasts a special connection with lead actor Brad Pitt. He worked as Brad Pitt's stunt double in 'Fight Club' (1999), 'Troy' (2004), and 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith' (2005). The two, who have had a special relationship for a long time, reunited as director and actor.

Brad Pitt said, "He, who used to work as my stunt double, has become a film director with his own language. It's rare for someone with a stunt background to grow into a director, so I'm happy to continue this special relationship." He laughed, saying, "Previously, I was the boss, but this time, David Leitch is my boss."

He also showed a special affection for action. He said, "This is the first time I acted in this kind of action. I greatly respect Jackie Chan and Charlie Chaplin, and we tried to express respect and admiration for them through the movie." He picked out an impressive scene in the movie, saying, "There are many special actions moving between the snack car and the quiet car, which is fun."

Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays Brain Tangerine, one of the twin killers in 'Bullet Train,' delivering an impressive performance alongside Brian Tyree Henry, who plays Lemon. He introduced, "Lemon and Tangerine are twins and the best partners who balance each other. At the same time, they are fierce killers." About Brian, he said, "He is a great actor and a respectable, humane friend. It helped to bring out the feeling of mutual love and care. The relationship of genuine love is portrayed."

Aaron Taylor-Johnson exchanges intense action scenes with Brad Pitt. Aaron said, "It was a great and good experience. Brad Pitt was a legend, an idol, and a mentor." He added, "He led us with a good culture on set. There were action scenes and fights, and it was good to work as partners. It was a good experience working with a director who is a legend in the stunt world."

About Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brad Pitt praised, "Plan B, the production company, has been paying attention to Aaron for a long time. He is an outstanding actor comparable to Christian Bale. He is a colleague with much better acting skills than me."

Finally, Brad Pitt said, "Everyone has endured a strange time during the pandemic. It was lonely but also a time to look inward and think about how to spend free time. Life is not long, so you have to live the way you want. Having gone through difficult times together, I hope people enjoy the movie and have a good time."
