[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lotte ON announced on the 19th that it has signed a business agreement with the Korea Traditional Folk Liquor Association to expand the distribution channels for traditional folk liquors.
This business agreement embodies a spirit of mutual growth by promoting excellent products manufactured and sold by member companies of the Korea Traditional Folk Liquor Association to customers, while also helping to increase sales for outstanding manufacturers.
Lotte ON will support the entry of approximately 80 member companies belonging to the Korea Traditional Folk Liquor Association. Next month, after the entry process is completed, a dedicated traditional folk liquor section will be created and operated, and through various promotional activities, the company plans to actively support product exposure and sales.
A Lotte ON official stated, "Given that traditional liquors are characterized by small-batch production of many varieties, we believe that selling them online has advantages over offline sales," adding, "We will take on the role of introducing excellent traditional liquors to customers by opening a dedicated traditional liquor section and conducting various sales support activities."
