Former lawmaker Kim is a six-term lawmaker and currently serves as a standing advisor for the People Power Party.

Lawyer Seok Dong-hyun has been nominated as the Secretary General of the Democratic Peace Unification Advisory Council. Lawyer Seok is known to be a 40-year close associate of President Yoon Seok-yeol.
