Over 110,000 Questions Answered with 99% Accuracy During 6-Week Pilot Operation
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Investment Promotion Agency announced that starting from the 19th, it will provide an AI (artificial intelligence)-based chatbot service offering consultation in Korean and English 24 hours a day without any time or space restrictions to foreign investors worldwide.
The Seoul Investment Promotion Agency AI chatbot is designed based on a vast dataset of over 3,000 scenarios and has been trained through more than 15,000 conversation simulations, enabling 'human-like' investment consultations. In particular, it is designed to identify key keywords in sentences through natural language processing technology using machine learning, allowing it to provide accurate answers even when users ask questions in natural spoken language. The recognition rate of sentences continues to improve the more users interact with it.
During the six-week pilot service period, Seoul City successfully responded to over 111,257 questions with a response rate exceeding 99%. It also received high praise from investors who had previously used the Seoul Investment Promotion Agency’s consultation services for providing quick and easy-to-understand answers to their inquiries.
The Seoul Investment Promotion Agency ‘AI Chatbot Service’ can be accessed by clicking the chatbot service icon displayed on the Seoul Investment Promotion Agency website, and it can be used without any separate login procedures or personal information input. It is also available on both PC and mobile environments.
Jung Young-jun, Director of New Industry Policy at Seoul City, stated, “With the introduction of this AI chatbot service, potential investors interested in investing in Seoul will be able to obtain Seoul investment information anytime and anywhere. We expect this to lower the entry barriers for many overseas investors considering investment in Seoul.”
