Hampyeong-gun Holds '8th Term Elected Officials Pledge Implementation Evaluation Team Meeting'

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] On the 18th, Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do, appointed 15 members to the Pledge Implementation Evaluation Group and held the first meeting to review the implementation plans of the pledges for the 8th local government administration.

The Pledge Implementation Evaluation Group participates directly in the election pledge implementation plans and regularly inspects and evaluates the pledges after they are finalized.

At this meeting chaired by Deputy Governor Lee Byung-yong, each responsible department reported on the implementation plans of the pledge projects, and the direction and plans for project promotion were discussed in depth through discussions.

For the operation of the 8th local government administration, the county established an action plan for 59 pledge projects across six major areas based on the administrative policies of a vibrant local economy, five-sense satisfying cultural tourism, mutually supportive welfare, and communicative open administration.

Key projects include developing the Bitgreen Industrial Complex as the center of the automobile industry, improving the distribution structure of agricultural, livestock, and fishery products, creating a stay-type tourist city, and establishing a Hampyeong-type health management support system.

Going forward, Hampyeong-gun plans to conduct a final review of the feasibility of project promotion to fulfill its promises to residents, establish systematic and feasible plans, and promote substantial pledge projects.

Deputy Governor Lee Byung-yong said, “The pledge projects of the 8th local government administration are the foundation for Hampyeong-gun’s future and the core that will lead the county going forward,” adding, “We will establish a final implementation plan through thorough review so that the pledge projects reflecting the residents’ aspirations can become projects for the residents.”

Meanwhile, the attendees on the day took time to supplement the project plans through reports and Q&A sessions on the background of each detailed project, project scale, and funding plans, and the county will proceed with revisions and supplements regarding the identified issues and improvement directions.
