Hosted by Cheongnyeon-gwa Mirae (Youth and Future), this festival is organized by a youth festival planning team of about 2,000 young people, offering a variety of content for youth.

As a result of proactive efforts led by Cheongnyeon-gwa Mirae since 2016, the Youth Basic Act passed the National Assembly plenary session on January 9, 2020, officially designating Youth Day as a legal commemorative day.

At the 6th Korea Youth Day Festival this year, events such as the 4th Industrial Revolution Employment and Startup Festival, Creator Festival, Blockchain and Digital Advanced Industry Booths, cultural events, award ceremonies, and celebratory performances will take place.

At the award ceremony, winners of the ‘5th Youth-Friendly Legislative Award,’ ‘4th Social Contribution Merit Award,’ ‘3rd COVID-19 Hero Award,’ ‘7th Youth Policy Competition,’ ‘4th Unification UCC Creation Contest,’ and ‘4th Youth Startup Awards’ will share the stage.

This festival was prepared to foster the growth of the one-person new media industry and build a support network, with Sandbox joining as a co-host to add significance.

Jung Hyun-gon, director of Cheongnyeon-gwa Mirae, said, “The 6th Youth Day Festival will present a new vision of Korea as envisioned by young people,” adding, “We will provide infinite fun and emotion for youth, who are the driving force to realize this vision.”
