Abko Launches Full-Scale Collaboration Strategy with Popular Games... Targeting the Global Gaming Gear Market

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] ABKO, a new life platform specialist company centered on gaming gear, announced on the 18th that it will strengthen its global gaming gear market strategy through popular game collaborations.

The strategy is to expand collaboration with major global game companies in developing gaming gear products to establish a foothold for growth in overseas markets. To expand overseas B2B (business-to-business) sales of officially licensed gaming gear products already released, ABKO is currently preparing for European sales certification procedures and strengthening collaboration efforts.

ABKO has participated in the production of officially licensed gaming gear for Blizzard’s globally popular game "Diablo II: Resurrected" and has also released officially licensed gaming gear for Pearl Abyss’s "Black Desert".

The "Black Desert" edition includes gaming keyboards and gaming mice utilizing the Black Desert BI (Brand Identity) and artwork. The "Diablo II: Resurrected" edition consists of four types: a full-size and tenkeyless RGB Cherry keyboard using genuine switches from German company Cherry, a lightweight wireless gaming mouse, and a 7.1 channel RGB gaming headset.

An ABKO representative said, “Based on the high growth of the global e-sports market, we are strengthening overseas B2B sales,” and added, “Through popular game collaborations, we will increase recognition and market dominance in the global gaming market.”

They continued, “We are reviewing collaboration for the release of officially licensed gaming gear for several popular games with global game companies,” and stated, “As demand for gaming gear is increasing worldwide, we will differentiate our existing products through various strategies.”

Meanwhile, ABKO, Korea’s No.1 gaming gear specialist company, offers a variety of gaming gear and PC peripherals such as keyboards, mice, headsets, gaming chairs, and PC cases through well-known gaming gear brands like HACKER and COX. In the charging locker business sector, which is being promoted as part of the Green Smart School project, ABKO secured growth potential by signing contracts worth approximately 13.1 billion KRW in the first half of the year.
