[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] On the 18th, some areas are expected to see daytime temperatures rise up to 31 degrees Celsius, with scattered showers forecasted in various locations.


According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 17th, showers are expected on the 18th in regions such as eastern Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, northern Chungbuk, and northeastern inland Gyeongbuk. Expected precipitation amounts range from 5 to 40mm, with mountainous areas of Gangwon expecting over 60mm.


Morning high temperatures are forecasted between 19 and 24 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs are expected to range from 27 to 31 degrees Celsius. Fine dust levels are predicted to be 'Good' or 'Moderate' across all regions.


Most inland areas nationwide are forecasted to experience fog. Some inland areas may have dense fog with visibility below 200 meters until the morning.


Sea waves are expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the South Sea coastal waters. In the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East and South Seas, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea.
