Ulsan Ulju-gun Onsan-eup Community Security Council Delivers Summer Bedding Sets to Vulnerable Groups

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] On the 17th, the Onsan-eup Community Security Council in Ulju-gun, Ulsan City, delivered summer bedding sets to low-income vulnerable groups in the area to prepare for the heatwave during the hot summer season.

This project was carried out with a donation of 3.92 million KRW designated as a Good Company contribution from Murim P&P.

On that day, council members and staff from the Nambu Comprehensive Social Welfare Center visited 70 vulnerable households in the community, including low-income, elderly living alone, and disabled individuals, distributing summer bedding sets consisting of pillows, blankets, and mats, while checking on their well-being.

Chairman Jin-gyu Hwang said, “We planned this support to help neighbors vulnerable to the heatwave by providing a healthy and comfortable summer,” and added, “We will continue to make various efforts to support vulnerable groups in the local community.”

Onsan-eup Mayor Dongwon Kim expressed gratitude, saying, “We thank Murim P&P for their annual donations to support marginalized groups in Onsan-eup through their Good Company membership, and the Nambu Comprehensive Social Welfare Center for their home visit volunteer work to deliver goods.”
