Professor Kwak Iseop of Dong-Eui University Department of Physical Education Awarded the Sharing Academic Award by the Korean Society of Life Sciences

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Professor Kwak Iseop of the Department of Physical Education at Dong-Eui University received the Nanum Academic Award at the 64th Annual General Meeting and International Conference of the Korean Society for Life Sciences 2022, held over two days from the 11th at The K Hotel in Gyeongju.

At this academic conference hosted by the Korean Society for Life Sciences (President Kim Young-ho) and the Gyeongbuk World Agriculture Forum under the theme "The Next Generation of Life Sciences for Net-zero Future," Professor Kwak was recognized for his contributions to academic development by publishing numerous outstanding papers in the field of life sciences.

Professor Kwak Iseop has received several awards for his excellent paper presentations in the field of physiology, including the Excellent Poster Award at the 2016 Korean Society for Life Sciences International Conference, the Excellent Poster Presentation Award at the 2017 Korean Society of Exercise Physiology, the HK Biotech Academic Award from the Korean Society for Life Sciences in 2019, the APS Select Award from the American Physiological Society, and the Best Reviewer Award, the highest academic reviewer award from the Korean Society of Exercise Physiology in 2021.
