Kyungbok University "Accepting Book Donations Until the End of the Year"

[Asia Economy (Namyangju) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Kyungbok University is accepting book donations until the end of this year.

The Kyungbok University Central Library announced on the 16th that it will hold the 'Knowledge Warehouse Sharing Movement' event to receive book donations from students, faculty, staff, and local residents until the end of this year.

This event is for individuals or groups to donate books they own and wish to share with others, aiming to provide users with more diverse materials through exchanges with alumni and the local community.

The event will run until December, and those who wish to participate can donate books at the Periodicals Room on the 1st floor of Udangwan, Namyangju Campus, Kyungbok University.

Donors will receive gifticons according to the number of books donated.

After the event ends, internally reviewed and selected books will be placed on a dedicated shelf with the donor's name indicated.

Kim Young-jin, Director of the Kyungbok University Library, emphasized, "We expect this Knowledge Warehouse Sharing Movement event to be an opportunity to share books, the treasure trove of knowledge and information, and to promote library usage. We will strive to become a model university that develops together with the local community by encouraging active participation from local governments and residents."
