Yeonggwang-gun Operates 'Promotion Center and Direct Transaction Market' at Daegu Shinsegae Department Store

[Yanggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 16th that it will hold a promotional exhibition for Yeonggwang-gun and a direct transaction market for agricultural and marine specialty products at Daegu Shinsegae Department Store until the 21st under the ‘Anmado, the Island You Want to Visit’ island development project.

The Yeonggwang-gun promotional booth, located on the 8th floor of Daegu Shinsegae Department Store, features the theme ‘Anmado, the Island You Want to Visit’ and offers various events such as Anmado VR experiences and gel candle making workshops.

It also promotes the county’s representative tourist attractions, food, and specialty products, as well as marketing for the upcoming 22nd Bulgapsan Sangsa Flower Festival and the e-Mobility Expo.

On the B1 floor food hall, a direct transaction market for the county’s agricultural and marine specialty products operates, offering items such as dried yellow corvina, moshi rice cakes, barley sikhye, barley powder, barley rice, red pepper powder, and organic rice.

County Governor Kang Jong-man personally promoted and sold agricultural and marine specialty products on the first day of the event, the 12th.

Governor Kang Jong-man said, “Through the Anmado promotional booth, we had the opportunity to introduce the county and its diverse agricultural and marine specialty products. We will do our best to establish a bridgehead between Yeongnam and Honam regions and expand sales channels in Daegu and Gyeongsang-do areas.”
