President Yoon Hyung-jung Conducts Special Safety Inspection at Gimpo Airport

Korea Airports Corporation announced on the 16th that President Yoon Hyung-jung carried out a special safety inspection of Gimpo Airport's operations and facilities on the 15th to ensure the safety of airport users.

President Yoon visited the Gimpo Airport apron control tower, which has been in operation for two months since acquisition, to check control facilities and emergency preparedness plans. He focused on inspecting the response readiness of facilities such as the aviation fuel storage area and the management status of emergency supplies in preparation for natural disasters like heavy rain and typhoons, as well as emergency situations.

Additionally, he thoroughly examined the immigration flow, customer facilities, and information counters within the Gimpo Airport passenger terminal, emphasizing the importance of proactive customer service in anticipation of increased passenger traffic during the summer vacation season and the Chuseok holiday.
