Competitive Bidding for Public Property in Changwon Doksom Amusement Park Until the 22nd

Convenience Store and Rest Area Restaurant Operated for 3 Years Inside the Comprehensive Tourist Information Center Building

Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam announced a bid for the usage permit of public property within Doksom Amusement Park.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam announced on the 16th that it has issued a bid notice for the usage permit of public property within Doksom Amusement Park.

Doksom Amusement Park is a representative marine amusement park of Changwon Special City, which was visited by about 174,000 people in 2017 before COVID-19. As of August this year, about 63,000 people have visited Doksom.

The bidding target is the Comprehensive Tourist Information Center building located at the entrance of Doksom Amusement Park in Masanhappo-gu, with 64.66㎡ on the first floor and 130.4㎡ on the second floor.

If selected as the user, the permit holder will operate a convenience store and a rest restaurant in Doksom Amusement Park for three years from the date of the usage permit. The estimated price is 16,296,920 KRW, excluding VAT.

The bidding will be conducted electronically on the Korea Asset Management Corporation's electronic asset disposal system ‘Onbid’ for seven days from the 16th to the 22nd. After registering as a member and registering a digital certificate, search for the bid notice titled ‘Usage Permit for Public Property (Convenience Store and Rest Restaurant) in the Comprehensive Tourist Information Center at Doksom Amusement Park’ and submit a bid. The successful bidder will be decided on the 23rd.

Meanwhile, the ‘Dok’ in Doksom is an old name for pig, named so because the shape of the island resembles a pig lying down. It takes 10 minutes by boat from the No. 2 Pier Cruise Terminal in Masanhappo-gu to reach the island.
