10 Useful Tips to Know When Conducting Real Estate Transactions?

Eunpyeong-gu Publishes 'Real Estate Transactions! How to Do It?' Guidebook... Available at District Office, Community Centers, and Website

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) has published a guidebook titled "Real Estate Transactions! How Do You Do It?" containing 10 useful pieces of information to know when trading real estate.

The booklet includes necessary information for various real estate transactions, from drafting a real estate sales contract to ownership transfer registration. It explains the real estate transaction process easily from the residents' perspective.

The number of real estate sales transactions in Eunpyeong-gu in the first half of this year was 3,153, showing nearly a 50% decrease compared to 7,970 transactions during the same period last year.

However, unlike the sharp decline in sales transactions, the number of civil complaints expressing inconvenience in real estate transactions has not significantly decreased, indicating that the proportion of residents experiencing confusion seems to have increased.

Accordingly, the district produced the booklet containing various useful information so that any resident can easily and conveniently access real estate transactions.

The main contents include 10 selected useful pieces of information to know when trading real estate, such as preparation procedures before signing a real estate sales contract, how to draft a sales contract, post-contract processing procedures, how to report real estate transactions, and precautions for real estate transactions.

The booklet is made in half A4 size, small and lightweight, so that people of all ages can easily take it out anytime and anywhere.

The booklet can be viewed by using the guidebook available at Eunpyeong-gu Office and the community service centers' civil service offices, or by accessing the district's website to download it online.

Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, said, "We created a practical booklet that any resident can easily use when conducting real estate transactions. We hope many residents who have difficulties with or interest in the real estate transaction process will make use of it."
