Jeju Fire Station Hwabuk Volunteer Fire Brigade, Sweating Hard in Fire Facility Inspection Activities

[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] The Hwabuk Volunteer Fire Brigade of the Jeju Fire Station announced on the 14th that it conducted fire facility inspection activities in the Hwabuk-dong area of Jeju City on the 10th.

On that day, the activities focused on inspecting fire facilities for initial response to disasters within the jurisdiction, including fire hydrants in densely populated residential areas under the Hwabuk 119 Center and basic fire safety facilities inside homes.

In particular, the inspection targeted houses vulnerable to fire safety such as those of elderly living alone and single-parent families, adding significance to eliminating disaster safety blind spots in the local community.

Meanwhile, the Hwabuk Volunteer Fire Brigade is working as waterfront safety personnel at Samyang Beach in the jurisdiction during the summer season, and plans to continue its role as local safety guardians by providing CPR training utilizing their professional skills and conducting disinfection activities for public facilities.
