Gyeongbuk Office of Education Operates 'Intensive Quarantine Inspection Period' in Preparation for Second Semester Opening Checking the status of mask-wearing, securing quarantine supplies, and managing quarantine personnel within the school.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gwiyeol] The Gyeongbuk Office of Education is operating an ‘Intensive Quarantine Inspection Period’ to check the school quarantine preparation status and raise awareness among school officials for normal attendance in the second semester.

This intensive quarantine inspection will be conducted under the responsibility of each school principal for a total of three weeks, from one week before the start of the semester to two weeks after the semester begins, to confirm the quarantine readiness for normal attendance in the second semester.

In addition to the self-inspection by each school, the Office of Education has set the intensive quarantine inspection period (August 12 to September 2) to conduct on-site inspections, verifying the following quarantine preparation items: ▲whether the school has established its own quarantine management plan ▲securing and distributing rapid antigen test kits ▲management of quarantine supplies and personnel ▲quarantine management of vulnerable facilities within the school ▲implementation of prevention rule promotion and education.

Superintendent Lim Jong-sik stated, “Any issues identified through this inspection will be immediately addressed on-site, and we will thoroughly prepare to prevent any quarantine problems from occurring at the beginning of the semester.”
