Accelerating the Promotion of Key Current Projects

[Goheung=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Sim Jeong-woo] Jeonnam Goheung-gun (Governor Gong Young-min) announced on the 12th that it held the first major project progress report meeting of the 8th local government term at the Heungyang Hall of Goheung County Office.

The report meeting was presided over by Vice Governor Seon Yang-gyu and focused on inspecting 26 projects, including large-scale projects and projects closely related to residents' lives in Goheung-gun.

The major projects inspected that day included ▲ construction of Doyang indoor swimming pool and healing seawater bath ▲ creation of Goheung County Sky Park ▲ establishment of Smart Farm Innovation Valley ▲ creation of Old County Office Historical and Cultural Park ▲ improvement of Bonggye Intersection in Goheung ▲ urban regeneration New Deal in Goheung-eup, covering various fields such as regional development, improvement of living conditions, and agriculture, fisheries, and livestock.

Vice Governor Seon Yang-gyu said, “Many residents are eagerly waiting for the major projects to be completed as soon as possible,” and urged, “Based on the discussions held today, please make efforts to solve problems and exert your capabilities to the fullest so that the projects can be completed early.”

Goheung-gun plans to actively discover new large-scale projects that will lead regional change and development, while regularly holding report meetings and promoting on-site executive meetings to enhance the completeness and progress speed of ongoing projects initiated before the 8th local government term, making multifaceted efforts.
