The event will offer three courses for elementary school students: ▲ 'Picture Book Linked Entry Coding' where they solve problems using hamster robots ▲ 'Overcoming the Climate Crisis! I am an Environmental Maker' which allows participants to experience eco-friendly activities such as carbon neutrality ▲ '3D Modeling Workshop in Stories' where they learn scientific principles and engage in creative activities.
For elementary, middle school students, and adults, a 'Basic Media Creator Course' covering media and Premiere editing will also be offered.
Students wishing to participate can apply from the 16th, and adults from October 18th, respectively, through the Citizen Library website.
The course fee is free, but material costs are the responsibility of the participants. Inquiries can be made to the Lifelong Learning Division.
Cheon Jeong-suk, director of Busan Metropolitan Citizen Library, said, "We hope this program will serve as an opportunity to spread maker culture by encouraging local residents to take an interest in maker education."
