Gurye-gun Opens Children's Water Playground at Seomjin River Otter Ecology Park

Cool Off This Hot Summer at Seomjingang Otter Ecology Park

[Gurye=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yuk Miseok] Jeollanam-do Gurye-gun (Governor Kim Sunho) announced that it will operate the children's water playground in the Seomjingang Otter Ecological Park free of charge until August 28, in celebration of the summer season.

The children's water playground in the Seomjingang Otter Ecological Park, which began operation on the 6th, is available every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on Mondays and rainy days. For water quality management and safety, it operates for 50 minutes followed by a 10-minute break.

To allow children to enjoy refreshing water play, facilities such as a combination playset including a water slide and water drop, restrooms, and shade tents are provided for visitors' convenience.

Additionally, at night, landscape lighting installed in the ecological garden within the park offers a unique nighttime attraction distinctive to Gurye.

Governor Kim Sunho said, "I hope families spend a cool summer together at the children's water playground, and we will do our best to manage water quality and facility safety so that children can enjoy safely and happily."
