"Experience Dokdo in the Metaverse"… NH Nonghyup Bank's 'Dokdo Bus' Official Service Launch

[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] NH Nonghyup Bank will officially launch the metaverse platform 'Dokdo Bus' on August 15, Liberation Day.

According to NH Nonghyup Bank on the 12th, Dokdo Bus is a metaverse (virtual extended world) where avatars are created and live on Dokdo, implemented in a virtual space. Since March, a pilot service has been provided to pre-registered users, and in June, it switched to an open beta format allowing anyone to participate.

The official service strengthens game-like fun elements. It offers various content such as a 'fishing mini-game,' 'God of Prayer' where users make wishes to the Dokdo sea lions, 'visiting the trail' to famous spots on Dokdo, 'plogging' which involves running around picking up trash, and financial knowledge quizzes.

Also, by visiting the NH Nonghyup Bank Dokdo branch within Dokdo Bus, users can participate in events or watch videos containing the latest information on taxes and real estate.

On the morning of the 15th, a celebration event will be held at the Dokdo Bus plaza, including waving the Taegeukgi flag and marching to Dokdo. Participants will also receive commemorative non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
