Enjoy a Rich Experience with Media Facade Viewing and Cultural Events
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju City announced on the 11th that it will hold the 'Biennale Cultural Concert' every Saturday night from the 13th to the 27th at the Biennale Exhibition Hall Plaza.
This event, prepared to provide rest and fulfill the cultural needs of local residents exhausted by the midsummer heat, consists of a media facade exhibition and various cultural experience programs.
The media facade is a light art that projects lights onto the exterior walls of buildings to display various video contents. This exhibition uses the exterior wall of the Biennale Exhibition Hall as a screen to showcase eight works by a digital design company themed on 'Twilight,' 'Line,' and 'Color.'
Additionally, cultural experience programs such as balloon art workshops, clay paint drawing classes, riding the Green Can Train, and lively busking performances are prepared to offer healing time to residents visiting the Biennale.
The cultural experience programs and busking performances are available from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and the media facade exhibition can be viewed for 30 minutes from 8:00 PM after sunset. However, the event will be canceled in case of rain.
Director Moon said, "We will continue to promote the media facade exhibition and various cultural events to establish the Biennale Plaza as a representative family cultural and artistic space in the region."
