Expectations as a Bridgehead for the Influx of Young Farmers

On the 9th, Sinan County Office held a business agreement with JD Tech Co., Ltd. to foster the Sinan Purple Banana cultivation complex in the video conference room.
About 10 officials, including Park Woo-ryang, Sinan County Governor, and Kim Hee-chan, CEO of JD Tech Co., Ltd., attended the signing ceremony, which was prepared to promote the banana cultivation complex in Sinan County.
On April 21, Sinan County signed a comprehensive consignment agreement with the Korea Rural Community Corporation Jeonnam Regional Headquarters for the '2022 Regional Specialized Lease-type Smart Farm Project' and is currently promoting the project.
Through this agreement ceremony, it is expected to establish advanced smart farm agriculture and serve as a foothold for increasing farmers' income, attracting tourists with on-site experiential products, and bringing in young farmers by linking with the new growth engine 6th industry tailored to the characteristics of island regions.
Governor Park Woo-ryang said, “We will focus all our efforts on producing eco-friendly bananas to enhance competitiveness, nurturing young farming talent through advanced smart farm education, securing profitability, and creating sustainable local jobs.”
