- Developed as a concept place offering a holistic experience through the five senses, not just a space for promoting residential products
- Units featuring differentiated specialized designs applied by Gyeongnam Enterprise, the construction division of SM Group with extensive expertise available to explore
SM Gyeongnam Enterprise has opened the gallery for ‘Gunsan Gyeongnam Honorsville The Ocean’ and has begun full-scale communication with customers.
The Honorsville Gallery is established as a concept place where visitors can experience the brand identity and a holistic sensory experience, unlike the existing model houses which were merely one-time spaces for promoting residential products. Through this, it conveys the unique brand philosophy of Honorsville and enhances differentiation from other brands through space branding that communicates with customers. Previously introduced galleries such as ‘Jangheung Station Gyeongnam Honorsville Bukhansan View Gallery’ and ‘Yongin Gyeongnam Honorsville Decent Gallery’ showcased the research on a better life and residential culture pursued by the Gyeongnam Honorsville brand, earning favorable reviews from visitors.
The Gunsan Gyeongnam Honorsville The Ocean Gallery introduces ‘Alvar Aalto (1898?1976)’, Finland’s renowned and beloved national architect whose face is even engraved on Finnish banknotes. His design philosophy, inspired by the organic aesthetics of modern design and the relationship between humanity and nature, has become a core philosophy of Scandinavian design.
The Gunsan Gyeongnam Honorsville The Ocean Gallery is designed as a space inspired by Alvar Aalto’s design. The gallery conveys the familiarity of modernism along with Alvar Aalto’s flexibility and warm sensibility through essential structural columns, high ceilings, textures, and restrained curved expressions. It plans to create a unique spatial impression by objectifying structural columns and using symmetrical spatial composition.
Additionally, the ‘showroom’ allows visitors to view the 84A type unit. The 84A type is designed as a 4BAY slab-type structure with excellent views and ventilation, featuring a separate entrance storage, pantry, and dressing room inside to maximize space utilization. SM Gyeongnam Enterprise’s specialized designs, including finishes, lighting, and furniture, are applied throughout the home to enhance the value of the residential space. Furthermore, the approximately 4.8m wide living room and approximately 5m wide spacious kitchen design offer an openness comparable to large-scale units.

Although no showroom is provided, some penthouses equipped with terraces that can be utilized according to the lifestyle of residents are also available. The complex, consisting of 873 households, includes various amenities such as daycare centers, fitness centers, guest houses, and educational facilities like daycare centers and small libraries within the complex, leveraging the premium of a large-scale complex.
A sales representative stated, “Gunsan Gyeongnam Honorsville The Ocean features excellent product quality that fully embodies the values pursued by Gyeongnam Honorsville, the residential brand of the 70-year construction expert SM Gyeongnam Enterprise, prioritizing residents’ convenience.” He added, “Unlike existing model houses, the Gunsan Gyeongnam Honorsville The Ocean Gallery will be presented as a gallery where visitors can experience the design philosophy of Finnish art master Alvar Aalto through all five senses, so we encourage you to visit without hesitation.”
