[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Dong-joo] Woo Sang-ho, Emergency Response Committee Chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, held a press conference at the National Assembly on the 11th.
At this event, Chairman Woo commented on the Ministry of Justice's attempt to nullify the legislation separating prosecutorial investigation rights by revising the presidential decree, stating, "If the scope of investigation is restored to its original state, a full-scale confrontation with the National Assembly will be unavoidable."
He also criticized People Power Party lawmaker Kim Seong-won's remark at the flood damage site, "I wish it would rain a bit so the photos come out well," saying, "Isn't it the case that they went to help the people but ended up being a burden to them? I think this is an unacceptable outrageous remark."
