Lotte Chilsung Opens Wine Complex Space 'Obinomio Cheongdam Branch'

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on the 11th that it will open 'Ovinomio Cheongdam Branch,' a wine complex space in Cheongdam-dong that offers wine tasting, purchasing, and connections with nearby restaurants.

Ovinomio Cheongdam Branch, themed after the fairy tale "Alice in Wonderland," differs from the existing Sinyongsan branch by featuring a separate 'Premium Cellar Zone' for high-end premium wines. The tasting area, a distinctive feature of 'Ovinomio,' has been expanded to allow customers visiting the store to comfortably enjoy wine.

To commemorate the opening, Lotte Chilsung plans to hold events such as free tastings of 16 recommended wines tailored to customers' MBTI from among the 600 types of wines sold at the Cheongdam branch, up to 40% discounts on Grand Cru wines, up to 50% discounts on premium champagne, up to 50% discounts on limited quantity sets, and tastings of about 10 themed wines with different concepts every week. Additionally, through partnerships with major nearby restaurants, the number of establishments offering free corkage for wines purchased at 'Ovinomio' will be increased.

A Lotte Chilsung official said, "With the recent growing interest in wine, we have opened Ovinomio in Cheongdam-dong following Sinyongsan," adding, "We plan to open about two more stores in Seoul and the metropolitan area within this year to actively approach wine enthusiasts."

Ovinomio, meaning "Oh! My Wine," is a wine complex space with the concept of "a space where you can easily choose your wine!" It offers wine recommendations suitable for various foods and occasions, as well as tasting and purchasing premium wines all in one place.
