A heavy rain warning is issued when the rainfall is expected to exceed 90mm in 3 hours or 180mm in 12 hours. The rain will be so heavy that it is difficult to see ahead, and caution is required for accidents such as flooding.

Previously, a heavy rain warning had been issued for 13 cities and counties including Cheonan.
