Q2 Earnings Conference Call Held

[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] A KT official said during the Q2 earnings conference call on the 10th that regarding the growth of wireless service revenue, "The 5G penetration rate increased to 54% in the first half of the year, and we are aiming for 60% by the end of the year," adding, "We expect that the continued increase in 5G subscribers next year will positively impact wireless service revenue."

The IPTV business and other business-to-consumer (B2C) platform businesses are also expanding. He stated, "In June, we launched the 'Choice Plan,' and through additional value-added services that customers can select, we plan to drive additional revenue growth," adding, "We are also preparing other value-added services that meet customer needs."
