[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province, has been holding preliminary resident briefing sessions for landowners in the planned cadastral re-survey districts for 2023 since the 5th.
The purpose of these preliminary resident briefing sessions is to enhance the overall understanding of the cadastral re-survey among residents of the planned districts before establishing the implementation plan for the 2023 cadastral re-survey project, and to listen to the opinions of landowners and stakeholders in advance to ensure the smooth progress of the cadastral re-survey project.
The preliminary resident briefing sessions are being held a total of six times at the town and township offices and village halls of the respective districts, starting with Naegok District in Hapcheon on the 5th, targeting landowners and stakeholders of Hapcheon 6 District and 12 other districts, and concluding with Sinsoyang District on the 24th.
Hapcheon-gun has set the planned project volume for 2023 at about 3,000 parcels, more than double that of last year, and is making efforts to actively resolve the difficulties faced by residents due to cadastral discrepancies.
Park Mu-gon, Head of the Civil Complaints and Cadastral Division, said, “By increasing the project volume every year, we will do our best to resolve all cadastral discrepancies within Hapcheon-gun by 2030, when the Special Act on Cadastral Re-survey ends, so that residents will not experience any inconvenience in exercising their land property rights.”
