Imsil-gun Supports 'Low-Income Briquette Coupons'... Easing Heating Cost Burden

[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 8th that it will accept applications for briquette coupon recipients through the town and township offices until the 17th to alleviate the heating cost burden for low-income households using briquettes during the winter season.

This is to investigate the recipients of the "Low-Income Briquette Subsidy Project," aimed at reducing the winter heating cost burden and promoting the stability of vulnerable groups in the energy welfare blind spots.

Eligible applicants are households using briquettes for home heating among basic livelihood security recipients, near-poverty groups, and marginalized groups.

Briquette vouchers will be provided to eligible recipients in the form of card-type coupons, and the support amount per household will be announced after the application period.

To apply, prepare documents proving eligibility and visit the town or township office by the 17th to submit the application.

The coupon usage period is from the date of receipt until April 30 of next year.

Briquette coupons cannot be used for briquette boilers or combined with winter energy vouchers, and any fraudulent use such as transfer to others or cash conversion will result in exclusion from support.

County Governor Sim Min said, "It is very meaningful to recruit recipients to alleviate the heating cost burden for low-income households during winter and to discover energy welfare blind spots," adding, "I hope that through the low-income briquette coupon support, more energy-vulnerable groups can spend a warm winter."
