Incheon Airport Corporation Awards for National Smart Infrastructure Management Idea Contest

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 8th that it conducted the 'Incheon Airport Smart Infrastructure Management Idea National Contest' to discover ways to improve the efficiency and productivity of Incheon Airport facility management, and selected outstanding proposals to award prizes.

About 200 participants from the private sector and academia submitted various ideas for this contest. The corporation selected a total of six outstanding proposers, including ▲1 Grand Prize winner ▲2 Excellence Award winners ▲3 Encouragement Award winners.

At the awards ceremony, Kim Seok-jun, Deputy General Manager of Incheon Airport Facility Management, received the Grand Prize. The proposed idea was related to the 'Proposal for Operation of an Automatic Remote Meter Reading System for Utilities in Incheon Airport Ancillary Buildings.' The corporation plans to review the applicability of the selected outstanding proposals to actual operations through field demonstrations and other evaluations.
