[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kang Jongman) announced on the 8th that it will conduct the "2022 Community Health Survey" targeting about 900 adults aged 19 or older among household members of sample households from the 16th to October 31.
This survey, conducted in cooperation with the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, involves four surveyors visiting sample households directly to investigate health status and COVID-19 related questions among adults aged 19 or older, aiming to understand the health level of local residents and use the data as basic materials for establishing regional health care plans.
The survey covers a total of 138 questions in 19 categories (including 13 COVID-19 related items), such as household survey education and economic activities, health behaviors (smoking, drinking, physical activity, etc.), health checkups and vaccinations, morbidity and medical use, accidents and intoxication, quality of life, use of health institutions, education and economic activities, and COVID-19 infection prevention.
A health center official stated, "During the survey period, surveyors will check their health status daily through COVID-19 tests and plan to conduct the survey safely by thoroughly managing infectious disease prevention, including hand sanitization and wearing masks," and added, "We ask for active cooperation when surveyors visit."
