BlueberryNFT Sportium Successfully Hosts 'Sports NFT Pop-up Store' Event with Hyundai Department Store

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Blueberry NFT Sportium announced on the 8th that it successfully concluded the ‘Sports NFT Pop-up Store’ event held in collaboration with Hyundai Department Store.


The Sports NFT Pop-up Store, which operated for two weeks from the 18th of last month at Hyundai Department Store Mokdong branch, was visited by over 4,000 customers. NFTs featuring debut season videos of players representing domestic professional basketball (KBL) such as Kim Sunhyung (Seoul SK), Byun Junhyung (Anyang KGC), Yang Hongseok (Suwon KT); domestic professional volleyball (KOVO) players Seo Jaedeok (Korea Electric Power Corporation), Jo Jaesung (OK Financial Group), Lee Soyoung (KGC Ginseng Corporation), Yang Hyojin (Hyundai Engineering & Construction); and domestic professional soccer (K LEAGUE) players Sejingya (Daegu FC), Jo Youngwook (FC Seoul) were all sold.


During the operation of the pop-up store, Blueberry NFT Sportium provided customers with various enjoyments by offering hash snap photography and character stickers. Additionally, as a special event, fans were given memorable experiences through one-on-one mini matches with professional sports players, and the videos of these matches were produced as NFTs for fans to keep for a lifetime.


Earlier, on June 9, Blueberry NFT Sportium signed a memorandum of understanding with Hyundai Department Store regarding NFT (Non-Fungible Token) collaboration. They agreed to plan NFT experience services and events that customers can easily understand, and to prioritize applying new services or content-related businesses that Blueberry NFT Sportium aims to try to Hyundai Department Store.


A company representative said, “It was a great opportunity for Blueberry NFT Sportium and Hyundai Department Store to contribute to the popularization of NFTs by conducting the Sports NFT Pop-up Store together,” and added, “Starting with this event, we will hold more diverse NFT-related events with Hyundai Department Store to create many elements that help consumers become familiar with NFTs.”
